About EWCA
The Ethiopian Wildlife Conservation Authority (EWCA) is responsible for the protection, conservation, and sustainable management of Ethiopia’s wildlife resources, national parks, and protected areas.
Key Responsibilities
- Support wildlife conservation and protected area management activities.
- Conduct field monitoring and wildlife data collection.
- Assist in community awareness and conservation outreach programs.
- Prepare conservation activity reports and documentation.
- Collaborate with park staff, researchers, and local communities.
- Support biodiversity protection and eco-tourism initiatives.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in:
- Wildlife Management
- Forestry
- Environmental Science
- Natural Resource Management
- Or related fields
- Minimum 2 years of relevant experience preferred.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Willingness to travel and work in remote field locations.
- Knowledge of Ethiopian wildlife and protected areas is an advantage.
