About EWCA

The Ethiopian Wildlife Conservation Authority (EWCA) is responsible for the protection, conservation, and sustainable management of Ethiopia’s wildlife resources, national parks, and protected areas.


Key Responsibilities

  • Support wildlife conservation and protected area management activities.
  • Conduct field monitoring and wildlife data collection.
  • Assist in community awareness and conservation outreach programs.
  • Prepare conservation activity reports and documentation.
  • Collaborate with park staff, researchers, and local communities.
  • Support biodiversity protection and eco-tourism initiatives.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in:
    • Wildlife Management
    • Forestry
    • Environmental Science
    • Natural Resource Management
    • Or related fields
  • Minimum 2 years of relevant experience preferred.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • Willingness to travel and work in remote field locations.
  • Knowledge of Ethiopian wildlife and protected areas is an advantage.
